Back to back - performance installation 2015

Back to back is a multi-sensory art piece that draws elements from poetry, sculpture, performance and music to create a riveting social commentary on the impact of social media in today's world.  

It poses pertinent questions on the effect social media has on strained relationships, while touching on topics of race, inequality and violence against women/girls and religious intolerance.

The project was exhibited at the 2015 National Arts Competition hosted by African Artists Foundation and re-produced in a creative collaboration in 2020 with the New York based singer, Kelly Green
